If I remember right, Portal 6 would install on XP Prof, Portel 6 expres did not.

Very frustrating, actually I just wanted to run component designer and demo at customers. Including finding the stuff to download and finding out the hard way that it won't work was probably 3 days of wasted time.

And of course I did not demo at those customers and therefore IBM and me may or may not have lost money (there was no big enough pressure, otherwise I would have invested another 2 or 3 days, and most likely would have succeeded.
